School Bus Drivers (Driver Training Course--June 24-28, 2013)

One of the requirements to be a school bus driver is to take a 30-hour classroom course.  LPSB Transportation Department will be offering a driver's training course:  June 24-28, 2013, 5:00-9:00 PM.  Please call 318.255.1430, ext 224 (Transportation Department) to register for the course.  Principals, please have any and all coaches and teachers that need to be driving for your respective schools call the transportation office to register for an upcoming course.  This course is a Department of Education mandate so it may hold up someone from being certified to drive.

If you enjoy children and want to have a job that provides service to our school system, we are in need of substitute bus drivers. This job can work into a full time position. Having a CDL license will help you in the process of getting certified.
