November is here and we have made it through the 1st nine weeks of school! Report cards will be sent home with students TOMORROW. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school to set up phone calls/conferences with teachers. A copy of the November calendar is posted below and is being sent home with students.
I A Lewis is hosting a BOOK FAIR next week in the library! There will be lots of exciting books, colorful posters, and fun trinkets available for purchase. Funds raised will be used for student requested purchases! Parents, please make plans to visit us Thursday night. See everyone soon!
Parents/guardians, please read the announcement regarding cold weather gear: While we do allow students to wear jackets to school, jackets may not be worn during the school day in hallways or classrooms. If students want to wear something warmer in the classroom, they must wear a regular crewneck sweatshirt (plain school colors or IAL or Ruston) with no pockets, zippers or hoods. Any caps, beanies, fleece/sweater headbands, or gloves worn to school must also be put away in lockers upon arrival. Thanks for your help with this!
If you have students in your homerooms they are dressed for Red Ribbon Week, please send me pictures if you think about it! We can use those for the yearbook & in posts to show parents & the community how awesome IALewis!

Don't forget that students need to charge Chromebooks tonight. They can leave the charger at home but will need to bring the Chromebook daily to school for use. If your student did not receive a CB on Friday, it is likely that we do not have a signed Chromebook Contract from you yet (or that it was processed late in the day on Friday). The Chromebook Contract was included in the stapled set of papers given out at the beginning of school. If you need another copy, these are available in the main office. Thanks!
